You're Running in the Wrong Direction!

We are officially into the 8th month of the year. I think that we all started 2022 with some pretty lofty goals and some of us may be further into achieving them than others but don’t fret, progress is progress!


Does it feel like you've been running and running, chasing your dreams but haven't quite been able to catch them?

You may be running in the wrong direction, or even worse, running directionless. It's hard to go anywhere of you're not quite sure where you're going.


If you’ve been feeling like you’re a little behind the 8 ball, that’s okay! There’s an old saying that goes “The best time to plant a tree was 10 years ago, the second best time is now” or something to that effect.


So yea, you should have started on that thing in January and continued on through February March and so on…. However, you fell a little short, but instead of sitting down and reminiscing on what could’ve been, you can be actually creating it now.


So the first thing that you want to do is envision that the year is coming to an end. That means that it’s December (choose whatever date you’d like) and you’re getting ready for the New Year. What would you like that time to look like?


I would want to be coming off providing an amazing Christmas with my friends and family where I bought everyone exactly what they wanted, I will be preparing to purchase a new car, I will have a sufficient amount in my savings, at least 5k more than I currently have, and getting ready to start my second group coaching program!! And that’s just the tip of the iceberg honey!


So enough about me, I want you to do the same for yourself, but leave no stone unturned! Now I want you to use that image and plan backwards. What do you need to start today…. Ok, I’ll give you a minute, what do you need to start doing tomorrow to make this a reality? I know that it sounds like a lot, but there are small things that you can start to implement today that will make a big difference in the long run.


Maybe you need to wake up 30 minutes earlier, create a new routine, be more forgiving to yourself, and the list goes on! I’m not sure exactly what you need, but if you take a look at your life, it’ll become more and more apparent that it starts with the little things.
